The Vital Force of Water

This course will present the element water in its essence, its vital force and main importance for human kind on earth. Discoveries of contemporary scientists, such as Masaru Emoto and Lautherwasser will be presented. The participant will be led to appraise deeply the element water. In this course, water’s main features will be unfolded, as well as its possibilities and modern man’s responsibilities towards this element.

Teacher: María Laura Gutiérres

Graduated in Computing Science, María Laura Gutiérrez specializes in arts and sculpting and works with art therapy. Currently works in her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and is engaged in Anthroposophy deepening courses, for 20 years, specifically in the areas of Arts, Art Therapies, Pedagogy and Health. Her professional experience includes acting in the areas of shapes design, seminaries about storytelling and sculpting classes in Waldorf Pedagogy buildup.

Expedition

This is a short trip that aims to develop autonomy and courage facing direct contact with nature. The participant will experience himself in the expedition context, with all the challenges (camping, hiking - physical effort, material precariousness, etc) as a way of achieving life’s basic experience as core for a broader perspective of life and his role in it. The pupil will experience somewhat of the Brazilian soul and regional culture.

Teacher: Lorenzo Giuliano Bagini  

 Graduated in Geography, works as High School Geography teacher at Escola Waldorf São Paulo since 2002 and organizer and guide in travels and expeditions throughout Brazil since 1997.

Flow Forms

In this course the participant will sculpt in clay water recipients - www.flowforms.com  - creating, later on, a fountain. The participant will be led to experience the basic moves of water, therefore understanding its essence and making possible the creation of recipients that are in harmony with these principles. At the end, the participant will create a water fountain through sculpting of proper containers, which will permit water, when passing through them, make a lemniscata movement in it.

Maria de Los Milagros Wolthers Pires is graduated in Translation and Interpretation, Architecture, Sculpting, specialized in Anthroposophic Art Therapy and specialized in “Learning Difficulties”. Professionally, has already translated technical texts and foreign movies, worked with drawing in architecture, home design, project development and execution, worked as Sculpting teacher at Faculdade de Ribeirão Preto in the Pedagogy and Psychology courses, Sculpting/Modeling teacher in the   Waldorf teacher buildup course at Waldorf in Campinas, Juiz de Fora and São Paulo, acted as art therapist at the Favela Monte Azul e Penha nursery, at Instituição Parsifal with mentally disabled people, young and old and at the nursery of the Anthroposophical Medical Association, Associação de Médicos Antroposóficos. Presently is coordinator and sculpting teacher in the Anthroposophical Art Therapy graduation at Escola Livre de Terapia Artística de São Paulo, Sculpting teacher in the Art Therapy Buildup at Associação Sagres, in Florianópolis, takes care of patients in a private clinic and gives sculpting classes in a private atelier. 

The Four Vital Organs

There will be presented to the pupils the anthroposophical vision of the four essential organs: Heart, Liver, Kidneys and Lungs. This course aims to bring to conscience the importance of these four organs from the physiological point of view. In discussion groups, there will be a shared theme construction, with the knowledge that may be brought.

Graduated in Medicine, Perlatto also works as Biography Counselor, CEO of national ABMA and is the teacher in charge of ELEB- Escola Livre de Estudos Biográficos

The Four Temperaments

After observing the outside world, especially plants, the pupils will note different shapes and relate them to the elements - earth, water, air or fire. Then, watching the human physiognomy, the participants will verify which shapes may depend on the predominance of one or another element. In the study of this physiognomy, the pupils will look for the understanding of each Temperaments’ characteristic behavior.

Pedagogue graduated by USP, has large experience as Waldorf schools educator. Teaches at Centro de Formação de Professores Waldorf do Brasil (Teacher’s Training in Waldorf Education in Brazil).

GREENPEACE

Climate changes: Challenges for Humankind
In this course will be offered a general view of the current climate and science situation, of the international negotiations about climate change and of Brazil among this entire scenario.
